Create and edit user

Create user

To add a user you need to navigate to Users administration. Click Create user, and the User panel appears. 

 

The user can either be Local or External user. External user are connected to a Azure Object ID while a local user are created directly on the application.

Create a Local user

Enter an e-mail address as a Login name, then enter and confirm the password. You also need to decide the role of the user.

The user can be either User or Administrator. The Administrator will have access to all the workspaces and can view and edit all the added elements. A workspace User will have a more restricted access, and will only have access to the specific selected workspaces.

Check off the workspaces, to give the user access to the workspace. ­When the properties have been added, press Create and the user will have access to Compose.

Create an External user

Enter the Azure Object ID for User ID, add an e-mail address as a Login name. You also need to decide the role of the user.

The user can be either User or Administrator. The Administrator will have access to all the workspaces and can view and edit all the added elements. A workspace User will have a more restricted access, and will only have access to the specific selected workspaces.

Check off the workspaces, to give the user access to the workspace. ­When the properties have been added, press Create and the user will have access to Compose.

View/Edit user

Stay in the Users administration menu. Select the user you want to edit. The Properties will be available on the right hand side.

You can change the user properties like Login name, Role, Password and the workspaces the user should be able to access. It is also possible to change the user Status between Active and Inactive. Remember to press Save to save the changes.

 

Passwords in Compose must contain at least 10 characters, including one uppercase, one lowercase, a number digit and a special character.
