Providing information to organizations with legal basis

  • The relevant authority or organization which need access to confidential information are responsible for acquiring the legal basis. Documentation of legal basis must be produced if the confidential information is necessary.

With legal basis the following information is available:

Non-confidential information:

  • SSO

  • D number

  • Full name, including history

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Basis for registered gender

  • Address and moving date for current addresses (not addresses falling under the Information Protection Instructions)

  • Previous addresses, countries of immigration/emigration with moving dates

  • Birthplace

  • Citizenship

  • Marital status

  • Guardianship (name and address of guardian)

  • Future power of attorney

  • Date of death

  • Registration status, resident, relocated, dead, ceased and inactive d number

Confidential information

  • Electronic contact information

  • Estate contact information

  • Parents

  • Spouse/registered partner

  • Children

  • Parental responsibility

  • Adoption

  • Family number

  • Association to the Sami Parliament electoral roll

  • Sami language

  • Residency status

  • Foreign identification number

  • Immigration authority identification number

  • Registration status temporary (d number), disappeared, birth registered and not resident
