Form Builder – Languages

The Languages section of the Form Builder is where you keep track of your language settings and translations. The section consists of a Languages overview panel, a Level Translation panel and a Translation table.
Languages
This panel displays the added languages. The primary language of the form may also be set here and will always be shown in the first column of the translation table. Any additional languages can be added and shown in the columns to the right of the primary language.

 | Delete Language | Any language added to the form can be deleted by pressing the Delete Language button. Note: If more than one language is added to a form, the primary language cannot be deleted. To delete this language you would have to set one of the other languages as the primary language. (See below) |
 | Set as Default Language | The first language added will by default be the primary language. Any other language may be set as primary by selecting the language in the Languages meny and pressing the Set as Default Language button. |
 | Edit Language | An added language can be changed by selecting said language, and clicking Edit Language. A different ISO-code may be set for the selected language. |
 | Add Language | Clicking the Add Language button creates a new language. Enter an ISO language code and the new language will be added in the menu. |
Level Translation
This panel allows you to customize translations of form element labels and every page- and general property. This is the place to translate error messages, navigation button labels etc.

General Properties | When selected, the General Properties of the form will be displayed in the Language panel. Here you may edit default texts, such as error messages or warning texts. |
Model | When selected, the question names and validation script error message from the data model will be displayed in the translation panel. |
Views | When views are expanded (press the triangle) all views added to the form will be visible. To view and translate the elements added to each view, expand the view (press the triangle), then select the pages in each view. All the page elements will be shown in the translation panel (page title, labels, options, help text, etc.). |

Select | The additional languages can be viewed in the translation panel when more then one language is added to a form. Select the language you want displayed in the dropdown menu in the row above the translation panel. |
