Summary of answers – Confirmation
Compose Enterprise is going through a design update. The illustrations on this page might be of the old design, but the information is up to date. Thank you for your patience during this update!
At the end of form services, you can provide a page with a Summary displaying all the answers provided by the end-user. This gives the respondent a chance to view all the answers before submitting the form.
The summary is provided in the Confirmation activity. Create or open a previously created workflow and add a Confirmation activity at some point after a form activity in the workflow.
Note: For the Confirmation activity to recursively be able to access the previous form activity, remember to use bi-directional connectors between all activities from the form to the confirmation. This will enable the user to navigate back and change the answers if they find any mistakes in the summary.
Select the Confirmation activity in the canvas to have the Properties panel appear to the right.
To add a summary of questions answered by the respondent, please check the Show Summary on Confirmation property. Without checking this box, you will just have an empty page with a message warning the end-user that the form will be submitted in the next step.
The respondent will now have the opportunity to look over the answers given. This provides the respondent with the opportunity to go back and correct or add answers to questions missed while filling out the form.
Save the draft and create a version of the workflow to enable it to be set in production. The respondent view may look something like this:
