Footer in workflows

Footer in workflows

Compose Enterprise is going through a design update. The illustrations on this page might be of the old design, but the information is up to date. Thank you for your patience during this update!

The workflow footer is a static text recurring at the bottom of every page visible to the respondent user throughout the workflow. It can be used for any static message, usually to inform about who powers the service, use of cookies, link to external information, websites and more. This is an example of the footer in the respondent view:

Customize the workflow footer

The footer is configured on a workflow level. Navigate to the Settings section of the Workflow Builder to create/edit the footer. The settings for the footer are in the Properties - Workflow panel within the Respondent UI Footer section.

By default the footer is set with a set of Compose Software information. To be able to change the default footer, toggle Overwrite Footer to Yes. Now you are free to enter a customized footer in the input field and translate it to all workflow languages.

You can add links or format the text to adjust it to your needs. Check out the user guide on formatting text to see the formatting options available. When the workflow has been created and set in production you will be able to see the footer in the respondent view throughout the workflow.
