Free navigation between pages

Free navigation between pages provides you with the option to allow users to navigate freely between pages within and between form activities in the respondent view. With free page navigation enabled the respondent user will be able to use the page navigation menu to navigate past pages that have not yet been visited. In this example, we will use two Form activities to demonstrate how to enable the free page navigation. Only the settings directly connected to the Form activities will be included in this example. Start by creating a workflow and add a Start point, two Form activities and an End point to your workflow.
Select the first Form Activity in the canvas and Browse to find the form you wish to use.
After connecting the first form, check the setting Enable free navigation between pages in the Properties panel.
Then select the second Form activity in the canvas, and repeat the same two steps for this activity.
With these settings, the end user will be able to navigate freely between pages inside the respective form activity. If you’d like to enable free navigation between form activities, you must enable the possibility to return to the first form activity when you are in the second form activity. You do that by selecting the Connector between the form activities and changing the Connector Type to Bi-directional in the Properties panel. A bi-directional connector indicates that the end user may go back and forth between the two activities.
Now the end users may not only navigate freely within one form activity at a time, but also between these two form activities. Remember to Save your draft to be able to launch the changes. In the respondent view you’ll now see that all pages in the page navigation are active from the beginning.
